Engineering Tech Associates, PA is a privately owned and operated structural engineering firm.
Serving both the residential and commercial markets, our engineers have the experience to provide building and foundation structural design, design of peripheral structures such as retaining walls, and on-site inspection services to ensure compliance with construction documents and building codes or to resolve construction problems.
Our professional engineers utilize some of the latest computer hardware and structural design software, enabling them to explore the use of different methods or materials for construction that may be more cost-effective or provide better overall structural performance.

Meet Our Team
Engineering Tech Associates, PA staff members:
Ken Theisen is the firm’s president and principal engineer. Ken holds a B.S.C.E. degree, which he obtained from Polytechnic Institute of N.Y. in 1981. He is responsible for operations, project management and final project review.
Ralph holds a B.S.C.E. degree, which he obtained from North Carolina State University in 2004. In the fall of 2012, he became Vice President and Partner of Engineering Tech Associates, PA. He is responsible for operations, project management and final project review.
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, N.C.S.U., May 2014. Nathan is from Goldsboro, NC, and began his engineering career with ETA in 2014. His duties include the structural design of residential buildings and performing on-site inspections
